Description
Sealing wax. - The exclusive alternative to shrink capsules.
Sealing wax in granule form specially developed for sealing bottles. It can also be used to seal envelopes, children's treasure maps and much more.
This type of wax is elastic and flexible, yet firm, so that it does not break and splinter as certain other types of wax/lacquer can tend to do.
As the product is in granule form, it is easy to heat smaller portions.
Instructions for use: Heat the desired amount of wax in a thick-bottomed pan with a Teflon coating or in a container in a water bath to 100 degrees, and dip the bottle necks into the wax and then let them dry.
Note: This wax melts at around 75 degrees but should be heated to around 100 degrees to achieve the optimal liquid consistency before the bottles are dipped into the wax. This leaves a suitable layer of glossy wax on the bottle necks.
This wax is easy to use, unlike certain other types of wax that must be heated to 200 degrees in an oil bath to melt.
The individual colours can be mixed if a colour variant other than the one Dansk Hjemmeproduktion has in its range is desired.
Net weight: 500 gr
