Sealing wax. - The exclusive alternative to shrink caps.

Sealing wax in granule form specially developed for sealing bottles. It can also be used to seal envelopes, the children's treasure maps and much more.

This type of wax is elastic and flexible, yet firm, so it doesn't break and chip like some other types of wax/varnish can tend to do.

As the product is in granule form, it is easy to heat smaller portions.

Instructions for use: Heat the desired amount of wax in a thick-bottomed pot with Teflon coating or in a container in a water bath to 100 degrees and dip the bottle necks in the wax and then let them dry.

NOTE: This wax melts at around 75 degrees but should be heated to around 100 degrees to get the optimal liquid consistency before dipping the bottles in the wax. This leaves a suitable layer of glossy wax on the neck of the bottles.

This wax is easy to use, unlike certain other types of wax that must be heated to 200 degrees in an oil bath to melt.

The individual colors can be mixed if a different color variant than the Dansk Hjemmeproduktion has in the range is desired.
